About Us

 

             Our company is a family run business that has been in the same area since 1925.  My grandfather, Charlie Kerkhof, started an automotive service business in 1925.  In 1939, he made a major switch to watercraft.

 

 

 

 

 

 

My father grew up in this retail environment and learned a valuable lesson. 

“Customer service is the key to success in sales”

            

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

            

             With that notion in mind, he began selling cars.  In 1964, he purchased the building at 3448 W. 16th St. Originally, he began the business as a new car retailer.  It included a service wing, paint and body section and a showroom with up to 12 brand new Fiats, Triumphs,  and MGs in the display area.  It was during this time that he became the main distributor of MGs and Fiats in the Midwest.

             With 40 years in business and thousands of satisfied buyers and sellers of vehicles, Jerry decided to pass the mantle on to me.  It is my great pleasure to continue the tradition of quality salesmanship and customer service that my father created when he first opened the doors here.  Hopefully, I can help you with your vehicle needs and create a new satisfied customer in you.
